How to Build Trust with Your Coaching Clients
As a coach, trust is crucial to influencing and leading your clients. In this video, I share six ways to build trust with your coaching clients.
1 - Show up on time and end the coaching session on time: Be early, organized, and communicate trust.
2 - Show up with a positive attitude and be fully present: Give your undivided attention and create a safe space.
3 - Be supportive and non-judgmental: Normalize their behavior and create a safe space for vulnerability.
4 - Keep conversations 100% confidential: Like a priest or marriage counselor, keep confidentiality to build trust.
5 - Follow through on your commitments: Be accountable and model keeping commitments to your clients.
6 - Send session notes quickly: Build credibility and trust by sending notes same-day, if possible.

So here's how to figure it out. 1️⃣ ...

Yes, for me i found value in limiting how much I am saying versus how much I am listening and then thinking of what’s being said. Also, found some value in watching too. Sometimes people say more with how they look doing something than the words they say, people lie sometimes with their lips but their body language speaks volumes.

Michael, this is really great info that coaches and anyone with a personal growth mindset should watch. I actually watched it twice. First time it was on in the background. 2nd time, I sat down in front of my laptop and paid attention as if it was a seminar.

Uncle nearest descendents have no part nor ownership in the "Uncle nearest whiskey" business. They haven't received any money as well. The most that was offered was help to pay for college. The woman responsible for starting up the business and starting this story isn't even from Tennessee. She isn't related at all. She's been profiting off of a partially made up story and his real descendants have gotten almost nothing. Most are too old now to do anything about it and have been taken advantage of

That actually makes a ton of sense, Michael. A business shouldn’t be about who the face of it is. It should always be about the organization as a whole, because an individual might be great at something, but that individual doesn’t make up everything. The business is there because the folks that pitched in made it what it is.

16:18 is a 1M$ piece of advice: Let me say it this way: Don't build your home base on anybody else's platform. Sure, build an embassy there, but your home base should be something you have full control over, like a website, with a blog.
